I sit and watch the world go by
Each person with their thread
Observing through these tired eyes
Their troubles in my head
Some to make and some to mend
That's how the saying goes
The latter does my own heart rend
As time just ebbs and flows
My only desire's to heal you
To help you laugh and play
My only wish is to help you
Why do you turn away
We learn to keep ourselves hid
Behind walls of glass, smoke, or vines
Now if we could only be rid
Of the nightmares we see in our minds
The healer's dilemma, the healer's curse
That is the lament I sing
My heart asks with each aching verse
What to do, when you can do nothing

The Truth about Cryssy-Miu
Many of my followers will know that I read the works of a one Cryssy-Miu here on Deviantart. She is well known in the My Little Pony fandom for her fic "Broken Spirit" and in the Wreck-It Ralph fandom for "It's only Programmed". Both of these pieces are villain style redemption fics that have garnered their author much acclaim.
Cryssy herself claims to be a young lady just starting out in life, one who uses her writing as a gentle means of escaping the wretched world we all live in.
BUT IS SHE??!??!
I am here to expose the truth of the matter, for all my friends and readers to see. Hopefully the message can get out before she takes it
Stripes of black and stripes of white
Lurking in the Everfree's eternal twilight
A zebra from across the desert sands
Makes her home in this strange new land
The natives are afraid of her for reasons unknown
What could she have done, for this fear to be sown
Once a month she visits a nearby town
Only to find that nopony is around
The windows are barred and the doors are all shut
And so sadly she must return to her hut
Devoid of the herbs that she does require
She must make do with those few that she can acquire
But hark, what is this that now she sees
Why, it's a little young pony
She greets her and introduces herself for sure

I suppose the best way to start this off is telling you all I love you very very much. Each of you has shaped my life in such a way as to make it better, for better or worse. You've enriched my existence, and for that, I am thankful. To all of you. To all my friends.
Tayla I suppose it is best to start this list off with you. My first girlfriend, and sister of my heart. I'll never forget the days we spent cuddled together, roleplaying over the phone, building whole worlds or just playi
Two beings, both in the shape of great beasts, sat cuddled together in the cavern. Far beneath the ground, sheltered by the Earth, the black lion and the black tigress slept, side by side, their heads locked together in embrace. His fur was sable and silky clean; smoothed by the springs he visited under the land, to clean the dust and dirt from his coat. He wore no jewelry, save for a small bracelet he created, to give him light when light was needed. Forged of gold and inlaid with Diamonds, it shone with a gentle, clear light, illuminating the lovely tigress next to him. Like him, her fur was also black, and she wore two bracelets, f

The 1000 Word Challenge
"A picture may be worth a thousand words, but in a thousand words a good writer can paint a better picture than any artist ever could!"
-NoctusKerobian
Although the above quote is one of my own, it personally references my feeling about the tired old saying concerning a picture being worth a thousand words. As a writer, I know how difficult writing 1000 words is, and I can appreciate that a single image can communicate detail much more quickly.
But my feelings are not the point of this challenge, or of t
Night and Day
People often use Night and Day as symbols of Good and Evil, but this is not the case. Day, like Light, is not always Good. Night, just like Darkness, is not always Evil. There is wisdom and knowledge to be found in both of them, important lessons to be learned.
Day, by its light and colors, teaches us to admire the beauty of the moment. It teaches us to be impulsive, and to cherish the gift that is the present time. Day reminds us of the sweetness of flowers and the warmth of the sun. Day also teaches us to treasure our uniqueness. As no two colors in the rainbow are exactly alike, so are none of us exactly alike. We

I look up as the rain begins to fall, pulling my coat tightly around myself. Seems like this happens all the time lately. My fire gets extinguished by cold reality, then it starts to rain. It's been raining all Summer, really, when it should have been shining bright and warm.
I go into my house, the same old bleak door and window. My Parents are there, screaming at me about another thing I've done wrong. Just like every other day. I think back to work, and the people screaming at me because they didn't have the thing they wanted.
I look out the window and contemplate, not for the first time, just stepp
I am often asked, when people get to know me "You say you're Catholic, but you seem so unlike one What do you really believe?" I think it is time for me to answer that question, because I believe in an ideal that has shaped my Life.
Amen. This is a word uttered by so many at the end of a prayer, yet so few realize what it means. It is an affirmation of one's faith, almost literally translating to "Yes, I do believe." I believe it is the most important thing a human can say, because it shows that they have faith. Faith is among the most powerful things in this world. I have been

Swizzle Buys Candy Wrappers
(I'm normally heavily against sexualizing a children's movie, but when I saw that scene from "Love At First Hiccup", and thought of all the candy puns, Tobikomi and I could not pass that opportunity up. We always pictured Swizzle to be the crude ladies' man, so here he is. Don't drink anything while you're reading this. You'll spit it out, trust me.)
Swizzle Malarkey strode eagerly up toward Bearded Papa's outpost close to the smoldering factory in the distance, a smug, proud smile slid across his face. As he approached the window, he slammed down six coins, and crossed his arms.
The kind man's eyes roved over the little boy and he smiled.
Why do I have no ID Pic? Because I can't draw worth a flying...well, you get the picture.
I'm just a young writer who loves to have fun...and to tell many, many, many riddles. My friend Lyssan and I collect them, as well as writing them.
What else....welp, given that it's late, I can't think of anything else to put here, so I'll leave it at that...Ciao!

I will be leaving Deviantart for an indefinite time.
I have been helping a dear friend work through his issues, but...I think he killed himself today.
I just...I need some time.
Goodbye.
I try not to let my political views intrude on my artwork and fun.
But when said politics try to intrude on the place where I do those things, then I take offense.

So I ask all my watchers who haven't signed this to please do so, and signal boost it. Get the word out that this kind of law is utter BS.
Also, for those interested and who would tell me that it's legal, the Supreme Court of the USA already ruled that laws like this are unconstitutional. Reason: The internet is a Global Phenomenon, and thus cannot be regulated by any one

On the bright side I might have additional practice sketches of Violet too
